So I am just going to come out and say...I have never been to a Trader Joe's until today. It was never nearby to go shopping at so my mom nor I ever shopped there. My cousins made Orange chicken and rice for dinner one night and I liked the way it tasted so I figured I would go buy it. (We all know how picky I am when it comes to food). I made my way to the nearest Trader Joe's. I was surprised at how small the store was, but the store carries everything! I think it might be my new favorite place to shop. I was so excited over the pre-packaged lunch's/meals that I purchased enough for the rest of the week.
Dinner turned out awesome too...and we all know that I am not Rachel Ray...and yes Catherine I used my Pampered Chef Rice cooker to make the perfect rice!!

Silhouette
As you know I am big into scrapbooking and card making. I had purchased the Cricut Imagine a few months back, but decided that there were a few things that I didn't like about it, so I ended up sending it back to HSN before my 30 days were up. Don't get me wrong it was an excellent machine, but I wanted something different. After doing more research and talking with fellow scrapbookers my 2nd mom Tina raved about her Silhouette. Now it has the same functions as the Imagine, but different such as:
A) super light weight
B) portable
C) buy the die cuts offline and don't have to worry about storing the cartridges
I made my first card off of it today and love it! Josh doesn't understand why I have craft room yet I insist on transporting my items downstairs and working off of the dining room table. I say "It's old habit and the table is huge!" So my next project I will do in my scrapbook room because he is threatening to make it into a gym...yikes!

Happy 4th Birthday!
Today one of my favorite little people turned 4, Mr. Tanner aka this generation Dennis the Menace. We consider him and the rest of the clan family. It is hard to believe that he is already 4 years old. I remember the early morning phone call that he made is debut into the world. Holding him when he was just hours old in my arms and feeling so lucky to be a part of his life. Hope you had a Dino-mite 4th Birthday buddy! Aurbery

Front Street Pizza
We went on on a double date with our good friends Morgan and Daniel to Front Street Pizza in Old Town Temecula. It is a new pizza place that has been open for a few months so we decided to check it out. If you love Chicago style pizza then it is your kind of pizza place. You can either get pizza by the slice or a whole pie. It is such a cute tiny little place and the owner Garth comes and has a full on conversation with you. So if you are up this way check it out!

Blog Date & Christmas Lights
My blog idol Catherine has told me that my blog needed some help, so we have been planning on getting together to have a blog date to add some cuteness to it. It is still a work in progress, but I think it is quite amazing right now just need a few more frills. I just want my blog as cute at Catherine's and Teri's so I need to figure out how to add photos and the fancy collage aspect to it. Our date got interrupted when the cousins came over to tell us that we were going to go look at Christmas Lights. I LOVE looking at Christmas lights so we finished the blog date and went out.
We went to one neighborhood that the entire cul-de-sac had lights that danced to the music...it was fantastic! Then we went to my favorite house in Murrieta. He is an older gentleman that starts decorating his house on Labor Day weekend. There is absolutely no one part of his house that is not covered in lights. He even lets you in his house to see his village and backyard that has a train and how to say Merry Christmas around the world. His show lasts about 10 mins. complete with music, dancing lights, and video. I can't wait to see what he has in store for Christmas 2011!

New Year 2011
Josh and I celebrated New Years Night instead of New Year's Eve. We had a wonderful dinner at Claim Jumper and then came home and watched the movie Hurt Locker. It is a great movie and deserving of the awards that it received. I wanted to take more pictures at dinner, but Josh said. "What, are we our own paparazzi now? You are going to draw attention to yourself."

New Years Eve 2011
Josh had to work is last night shift on New Year's Eve, so I spent the day with two of my favorite people. We had some other plans fall through, so my parents and I just hung out around the house and had an awesome dinner, homemade hamburgers and french fries. We watched the Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest show to watch the Ball drop and stuffed ourselves full of popcorn and ice cream. It was a mellow New Year's Eve, but just what I like.
